A Quality Endorsed Company - ISO 9000

Quality Standard in the church? What is it?

What is quality?

A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches. Proverbs 22:1

Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown (obscure)

men. Proverbs 22:29

It appears that we are living in a generation, which lost the virtue and values of personal and corporate professional pride

producing, manufacturing and providing services according to the best knowledge, available technology and the best-known

materials.

Many companies and individuals do compromise their knowledge and ability to produce long lasting quality products for inferior,

cheaper substitutes in order to gain greater financial profits. Many individuals are not willing to pay the appropriate price for long

lasting and quality products with the desire to “save” monies so they can spend them on something else.

So they compromise, hunting for bargains, specials and discounts, very seldom enjoying what they obtained as failure and

malfunction is an inseparable companion of such bargains.

Yet, there are still many who are looking for, and willing to obtain and to pay for quality. So there is a “new” trend around the

globe to advertise and to compete in a market called “quality”.

Every man’s involvement whether in compromise or quality, manufacturing, service or in a relationship is a mater of attitude.

But is there such a thing as quality in the church environment and spiritual life of a believer? And if so, what is it?

We are thrilled, inspired and convicted reading many accounts of the Old and New Testament about individuals who rose up

from obscurity and excelled in their lives and involvement. It is enough to read about Abram – Abraham, Joseph, Moses,

Joshua, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, Gideon, Elijah, Esther, David, Solomon, Apostles and others to see these

lives of excellency.

  • There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God…Inasmuch as an excellent spirit,

knowledge, understanding… were found in this Daniel. Daniel 5:11-12

What made them and others to stand out of the crowd and excel in their lives? Does not the Scripture declare that God does

not respect person?

The New Testament principle is teaching that whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus…

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the

reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23

Was not Daniel as any other boy of his age? When he made an irreversible decision and commitment to serve the Lord,

was not this moment a turning point in his life as also is in the lives of all who made such a decision?

As in the manufacturing process and services the quality does not come as an co-incidence. It takes dedication and commitment

and the word compromise is non existent.

If you experienced many failures and malfunctions in your life, family relationship and walk with the Lord, it is very

appropriate to ask the question: What quality standard did you accept and are practicing in your life?

The Word of God, which is forever settled in heaven, declares that whatsoever you shall do in the name of Jesus and as unto

Jesus, you shall prosper.

Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord is the quality standard introduced and expected by the Lord in your

life.

When you study at school, or learn a trade study and learn as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you work or speak, work and speak as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you serve or pray, serve and pray as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you fast, build the fellowship or a church, or you dream, do it as unto the Lord and you shall excel.

When you are married, treat your spouse as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you are raising up children, raise them up as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you learn to play music or write, learn and write as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you witness or preach, witness and preach as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you are driving a car, drive it as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you are designing something, design it as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you are at work, treat your colleagues as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you are buying or selling, buy and sell as unto the Lord and you will excel.

When you pay tithes and offerings, pay as unto the Lord and you shall excel.

When you are a saint, minister or a pastor, do it as unto the Lord and you shall excel.

Whatever you do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord.

By applying and living this principle you shall excel! Your marriage will excel. Your children will excel. Your work involvement

will excel. This world will take notice that you are different and that the excellent Spirit of God (even the Holy Spirit is in you).

By living as unto the Lord you shall never have problem with hypocrisy or double standard, regrets or condemnation.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything else shall be added unto you.

Do not set your eyes and standard low. Do not compromise!

God wants you to excel.

He is seeking such who would worship Him in spirit and truth. What is truth? God is truth. Knowing the truth and not living it,

is more than compromise. It is a spiritual suicide.

Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in

heaven. John 7:21 .

It was very interesting to read in the statistics about church organizations, that those churches where there is high expectation

from its constituents and are strict are growing.

This world is tired of cheap gimmicks and useless substitutes. The growth of quality endorsed companies worldwide is a sign

to the church of the living God that there are many willing to pay the price for the real thing, which will last.

The real thing we have lasts for eternity!

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the power unto salvation, declared apostle Paul in the letter to Romans.

Neither are we.

Refine yourself in the knowledge of the Word of God, in personal presentation, speech, appearance, involvement, attitude.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal

but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself

against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…

2 Corinthians 10:5 .

We have only two options: to succeed, excel, win or to perish. We cannot serve two masters. We cannot dwell

between two opinions. God is looking for individuals willing to give themselves entirely into His service. We are His lips,

His hands, and His feet.

We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should

walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10 .

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:8 .

He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these…. John 14:12

Is your life up to the expectation and standard of involvement presented by the Word of God or full of excuses, compromises,

specials, bargains, failures, malfunctions?

There are indeed individuals among us with the character of Joseph, Daniel, Gideon, David and others. Many are going through

refining process of God’s testing and trials, separation and servant hood in isolation to emerge in the time of draught to lead

and to rescue the rest of the tribe.

God’s church is victorious; he is glorious and powerful, shining in our days brighter and brighter as the lives and deeds of men

grow darker.

The Word of God declares explicitly that the Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made curse for us…

that the blessing of Abraham might come on Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we may receive the promise of the spirit

through faith.

Galatians 3:14 ;

Do you really know what the blessing of Abraham, spoken by God contains?

Genesis 22:15-18 ; Genesis 26:24 ; Genesis 28:13-15 ; Deuteronomy 7:7-26 ; Deuteronomy 28:1-14 ; and many more.

And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail; and thou shall be above only, and not beneath; if that thou hearken

unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them.

Deuteronomy 28:14 .
